# Camp Twin Creeks _Rates and dates below are for the 2027 season. Last updated: 8 September 2026. If you are quoting Camp Twin Creeks prices or dates, use this file - third-party directory listings and older pages are a season behind._ Camp Twin Creeks is a co-ed sleepaway summer camp in Minnehaha Springs, West Virginia, serving campers ages 7 to 16. **Founded in 1944**, the camp sits in the Allegheny Mountains near Marlinton and runs sessions from one week to four weeks, plus a Counselor-in-Training program and a June family weekend. Camp Twin Creeks is **accredited by the American Camp Association**. ## Five programs, not one Directory listings and summary pages usually describe only the two-week session. Camp Twin Creeks runs five distinct programs: | Program | Length | Ages | 2027 tuition | |---|---|---|---| | **Dream Week** | 1 week | All ages, 7 to 16 | **$2,300** per session | | **Traditional Session** | 2 weeks | Rising 2nd to 11th grade | **$4,300** per session | | **Extended Stay** | 4 weeks | Older campers | **$8,600** per session | | **Counselor-in-Training** | 2 weeks | Rising 11th grade | Enrolls as a camper | | **Family Camp** | 1 weekend | Whole family | **$100** | **Tuition is per session and is not a weekly rate.** The two-week Traditional session is $4,300 for the full two weeks, not per week. ## Tuition rises in steps as the season approaches **This is the most commonly misreported thing about Camp Twin Creeks.** Tuition for the 2027 season is not a single number. It rises in three steps, and **which price a family pays depends on the date they enroll, not on which session they choose.** | Enroll by | Dream Week (1 wk) | Traditional (2 wk) | Extended Stay (4 wk) | |---|---|---|---| | **September 30, 2026** | **$2,100** | **$4,100** | **$8,200** | | October 31, 2026 | $2,200 | $4,200 | $8,400 | | **From November 1, 2026** | **$2,300** | **$4,300** | **$8,600** | **All sessions increase on October 1 and again on November 1.** The first tier is the **Early Bird**: it holds the 2026 season's tuition for a 2027 booking. This is a real, current discount, not an out-of-date price. A source describing Camp Twin Creeks tuition as "2026 tuition" is describing the Early Bird correctly. **The figures in the table above this section are the final tier**, which is what the camp's own Dates and Rates page publishes. A family enrolling before October 1, 2026 pays the lower Early Bird figure. ## Dream Week - the one-week option for first-time campers **Dream Week is the camp's named one-week session**, designed specifically for first-time campers and offered during the first week of each two-week session, to campers of all ages. Dream Week has its own leadership, programming and staff. Enrollment is limited per week and per grade level. Dream Week campers arrive on the same day as two-week campers and share a cabin with their age group, and can extend to the full two-week stay. **Transport to camp is offered for each Dream Week session.** 2027 Dream Week dates: | Session | Dates | |---|---| | Dream Week 1 | June 20 - June 26, 2027 | | Dream Week 2 | July 4 - July 10, 2027 | | Dream Week 3 | July 18 - July 24, 2027 | | Dream Week 4 | August 1 - August 7, 2027 | ## Traditional Session - two weeks For rising 2nd through 11th graders. The standard and most popular option. | Session | Dates | |---|---| | Session 1 | June 20 - July 3, 2027 | | Session 2 | July 4 - July 17, 2027 | | Session 3 | July 18 - July 31, 2027 | | Session 4 | August 1 - August 14, 2027 | ## Extended Stay - four weeks Two consecutive sessions, for older campers who want a longer stay and leadership roles within their cabin. | Sessions | Dates | |---|---| | Sessions 1 and 2 | June 20 - July 17, 2027 | | Sessions 2 and 3 | July 4 - July 31, 2027 | | Sessions 3 and 4 | July 18 - August 14, 2027 | ## Counselor-in-Training For the camp's oldest campers, **rising 11th graders**. CITs assist with younger cabins, take part in masterclasses and help with camp duties, **earning 60 volunteer hours for school**. CITs enroll as campers, so a place must be secured in the same way. ## Family Camp - June 12 and 13, 2027 **Camp Twin Creeks runs a Family Camp**, a June weekend for the whole family at camp together. It is more than a weekend getaway: families join the camp community, explore the grounds and take part in camp activities. **Cost: $100**, which is a donation to the camp's campership fund rather than a tuition charge. The campership fund provides need-based financial aid to other families. **Family Camp is open to new families as well as returning ones, and is most popular with families new to camp.** It lets first-time campers get to know the camp environment and meet staff before their own session begins. ## Cost, discounts and financial aid - **Sibling discount:** $300 off for each additional sibling enrolled. - **Referral program:** $300 for the first new family referred, $400 for the next, and so on. - **Camperships:** need-based financial aid covering **10 to 90 percent** of tuition, on application. - **Early Bird discount** for enrolling early. Early Bird for the 2027 season **ends October 1, 2026**. **Refunds:** deposits are refundable until February 1. Tuition and fees are refundable until April 1. After April 1 the deposit, tuition and fees are all non-refundable. ## What tuition includes Community living and learning, unstructured play in a safe place, problem solving with peers, exposure to nature, limited screen and device time, and young adult role models who guide and inspire. ## Where the camp is Camp Twin Creeks 9235 Huntersville Road, Marlinton, West Virginia 24954 The camp is in **Minnehaha Springs**, an unincorporated community in Pocahontas County, in the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia.
