The cabins are empty, the dining hall has gone quiet, and the last bus has pulled away – but here’s a secret a lot of families don’t know: camp doesn’t actually end when summer does! Our team works all year long to make each summer possible, and once the dust settles, we go home to rest, recharge, and get back to our “other” lives – until we start dreaming up next summer all over again.
We wanted to catch up with you, and share where we went after camp, what we’re up to now, and how you can stay connected with us throughout the year.
Iain & Amy, Directors
After a whirlwind summer, Iain and Amy packed up the family for a trip to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, bringing the adventure out West! They explored National Parks, had some memorable wildlife encounters, and created some family memories before heading back home to Havertown, PA to kick off the school year.
Now that they’re home, Iain is trading his camp whistle for a referee’s one – he spends time in the fall as a soccer ref for local youth teams. Amy, meanwhile, is right back in her element heading up her preschool, spending her days with a classroom full of 3-6-year-olds (basically CTC campers in miniature!).
Hannah, Head of Community
Hannah closed out the summer with a road trip through Michigan, trekking all the way up to the Upper Peninsula! She especially loved biking around Mackinac Island, and swimming in Lake Superior. Now, Hannah is back home in Alexandria, VA, where she’s excited to dive back into her local community and book club!
Jeff, Program Director
Jeff capped off the summer with a trip to New York City before returning home to Spokane, WA. He’s already swapped camp programming for stage directing – he’s currently directing a local theatre’s production of Beetlejuice! If you’re ever in Spokane this season, be sure to catch a show!
What have you been up to since camp?
Getting to know each other doesn’t have to stop at the last day of camp. We’re already looking forward to:
- Hearing from you — send us an update, a photo, or just say hi anytime throughout the year
- Seeing you at a Camp Twin Creeks meet-up — we’ll be hosting gatherings throughout the year, and we’d love to see camper faces (and grown-up faces!) outside of camp
- Staying in touch as we start planning for next summer
