Summer Rates & Dates

We’re already planning for 2021!!  Here are our classic 2-week session dates…

Session 1: Sunday June 20th – Saturday July 3rd
Session 2: Sunday July 4th – Saturday July 17th
Session 3: Sunday July 18th – Saturday July 31st
Session 4: Sunday August 1st – Saturday August 14th

4-Week Session Dates

Sessions 1 & 2: Sunday June 20th – Saturday July 17th
Sessions 2 & 3: Sunday July 4th – Saturday July 31st

Tuition

Tuition includes the following invaluable aspects; community living and learning, opportunities for unstructured play in a safe place, problem solving with peers, exposure to nature, limited exposure to screens and devices, camp community/a home away from home, role models in the form of young adults who inspire and guide and much more…

$3,295 per 2-week session 
$6,290 for two 2-week sessions
$300 discount for each additional sibling enrolled

Tuition also includes these practical features; camper emails and photo downloads, director access and guidance throughout the camp session, transportation from the DC area (if allowed based on COVID-related guidance), onsite laundry, all meals, snacks, canteen and all cabin activities.

New – rising referral tuition credits for friends and families you refer.  Receive a $300 credit for the first, $400 for the second, $500 for the third and so on.

Optional Activities

Horseback Riding

Campers ride 5 or 6 times during a 2-week session.  A charge of $400 applies. Trail rides, horse care and ring exercises are enjoyed in small groups of riders with similar riding experience.

Tennis Instruction

As well as tennis sessions with their cabin, campers can enjoy private lessons or a mini tennis camp.  Private lessons are $50 per hour and mini tennis camp is $100.  This tennis instruction is suitable for all levels of play and ages.

White Water Rafting

An unbelievable trip down the New River for our oldest campers.  This challenging and fun excursion under the guidance of experienced river professionals proves to be a truly memorable day out experiencing the best scenery WV has to offer.  The trip ends floating under the famous New River Bridge.  A charge of $150 will apply for those entering 10th or 11th grade.  Provided by Adventures on the Gorge.

Rappelling and TimberTrek Adventure – TBD for 2021

Once again provided by our friends at Adventures on the Gorge, 8th and 9th graders enjoy an exciting day at the New River.  Half day rappelling on a rock face in the shadow of the New River Bridge and a half day in the trees on the TimberTrek course.  This optional trip has limited capacity and costs $120, covering activities, transportation and lunch.

Mountain Biking Trip – TBD for 2021

This trip for our 7th grade campers lasts a half day and takes place on the Greenbrier River Trail provided by Elk River Outfitters.  Campers experience tranquility and history on this old rail trail that passes through classic WV scenery and wildlife. A charge of $100 will apply for those choosing to participate.

Fly Fishing – TBD for 2021

Campers enjoy an afternoon of introductory fly fishing lessons. Open to all campers and taught by a local pro angler who works for Elk River. A charge of $95 applies.

International Camper Care Package

A $300 fee for international campers, including round trip airport transportation to and from Dulles Airport, chaperone service, bedding and towels, luggage coordination, unlimited e-communication to and from your camper, laundry, camp t-shirt, canteen and miscellaneous supplies as needed.

Fees

A 3% processing fee will be added to all credit card transactions.  Payments made by e-check or check will not incur this charge.
