What is it like to go to Camp Twin Creeks?

Try to imagine more fun than you may have ever had before. Think about feeling so comfortable and welcome that you begin making friends on the very first day. Try to imagine counselors and activity specialists who learn and play right along with you and who become big friends. Then believe it when we tell you that it all happens in just two weeks. Two weeks to keep smiling so much, your cheeks will start to hurt!

What happens on the bus ride to camp?

Two counselors on the bus will make sure you are sitting with other kids in your age group. Who knows? You might meet your first great new friend or two before you even get to camp!

What happens if I wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall back to sleep?

Not a problem. Your cabin counselor expects that you will wake them up if you have a problem. Counselors are here at camp to help, no matter what may be bothering you.

What sports equipment should I bring?

Head for the closet and pull out your own tennis racquet, baseball glove, cleats and shin guards. Whatever you may not have . . . we'll have it here for you.

What's the food like?

We like to think that there is camp food and then there is Camp Twin Creeks food! It's great! We start off with a set menu for every meal, and sometimes it is pizza or tacos or grilled cheese. In addition to the main offering, we always have peanut butter, jelly and other substitutes. Every lunch and dinner is accompanied by a salad bar. We also offer a pasta bar and vegetarian bar on a regular basis. And, wait until you taste the snails! (Just kidding.)

Where do we swim?

Campers swim in both our wonderful lake and our new Olympic size swimming pool. We have a waterslide and diving board at the lake, for added fun. Yeeehah!

How does all this happen in two weeks?

We keep you busy. You'll find yourself doing things you love and trying things youíve never done before. Even with all this, you'll also have a little down time to hang out with new friends.

Match these quotes with the pictures on the left.

“Twin Creeks helps with everything. I told them my pants were a bit loose.”

“My counselor said, ‘Do what you can to get ahead.'”

“Nurse, nurse, may I have matching Band-Aids, please?”

“Why did I keep smelling the salad dressing so closely?”

“I just found the camp library!”

“I said, ‘Carry me to the docks,’ not ‘Bury me in the blocks!'”
